While on a Scottish adventure, we rented a car but got a flat tire on a late-night journey. We were stranded on an isolated stretch of road and had to wait for hours in the cold for roadside assistance. In 2024 you can claim 750 Euros instead of 500. The steps in the videos are still the same to claim the tax credits. Budget 2023 announced the introduction of a new Rent Tax Credit. This new tax credit will be available for the 2022 to 2025 tax years inclusive. Rent credit is 20% of the amout you paid in rent. So you can enter 2500 and you'll get 500 in return for that. For couple you may enter 5000 and get 1000 back. Note: If you're stuck somewhere and getting some unexpected error please call Revenue on (01) 858 9843, They are superhelpful. You will be required to make a claim for this credit. You can claim the credit for the 2022 tax year on your Income Tax Return.
